began using Reiki. The individual must apply for acceptance into the program
and be committed to Reiki and a self healing process. All 3 programs include a

In June of 2004, I apprehensively took Reiki I from Patricia Torrez
with the hopes that I wold be able to help heal injuries to my horses
and possibly find a means of communicating with them. Learning
Reiki I opened doors that I could not have anticipated, so much so

Pat came into my life when I was going through a major inner
transformation that was manifesting itself through a number of
painful physical symptoms. From my first Reiki session with Pat, it
was clear to me that I had found not only a gifted healer, but a
teacher, and soul mate. Her healing techniques allowed me to open
myself to the healing power of the Universe, face my demons, and
learn to heal myself. My life has not been the same since.
Under Pat's tutelage, I completed the first and second degree Reiki
training and plan on working with her to become a Master Reiki
practitioner. As a result of learning to apply Reiki techniques to
facilitate the healing process for myself and others, I have also
learned to trust in my own intuitive way of knowing what is right for
me, and that the processes of life are happening just as they should.
Since making Reiki a part of my life, I have experienced some very
exciting career changes that I feel are the direct result of having
developed a new understanding of my abilities and the confidence
to take on increased leadership responsibilities.
